Amir Tyson Calls Out Chase DeMoor After Heated Misfits Ring Clash
Amir Tyson walked into a Misfits Boxing ring in Miami on Saturday and pointed at the heavyweight title before the ink on his new contract had time to dry.
The son of Mike Tyson told a DAZN interviewer he is fighting in December and that he wants three knockouts first. Then he named the man whose belt he wants.
“I want to knock out three people in a row, then I’ll call him out too, and I’ll take his belt,” Tyson said.
The interviewer asked if that meant Chase DeMoor. Tyson did not hesitate. “Let’s get it.”
DeMoor was in the building. The Misfits heavyweight champion came through the ropes shirtless, gold chain on, and the interview turned into a face-off that security had to break up.
DeMoor went straight at the new signing. “What up, little bro? You ain’t a fighter. You ain’t a fighter, little bro.”
Tyson answered the same way twice. “I’m gonna take your belt, b*tch.”
The two were pulled apart and put back together more than once. Tyson kept talking over the noise. “You ain’t gonna do sht. I’m not a 39-year-old man. I’m not Andrew Tate. I’m gonna knock your sht out, boy. Get the f*ck out of here, soft-ass motherf**er.”
That Tate line was the sharpest cut in the exchange. DeMoor beat Tate by majority decision at Misfits Mania in Dubai on December 20, 2025, and kept the promotion’s heavyweight title in the process.
Tyson was drawing a line between that win and what he thinks he can do. DeMoor treated him like a debutant who had not earned the mic.
They ended up chest to chest. DeMoor told him he would get slapped. “You a b*tch. I’m him.”
Tyson kept the same promise on a loop. “I’m gonna knock everyone out they put in front of me and I’m gonna take your belt, b*tch. I guarantee you.”
Someone in DeMoor’s group missed a swing in the scramble. Tyson noticed. “You missed, b*tch. Have some aim. Have some f*ing aim. I’m gonna take your soul, motherf*er.”
The broadcast called it a possible future matchup. That is all it is right now. Misfits announced Saturday that it had signed Tyson to a multi-fight deal, with his first date expected in December. No opponent was named in the official word, and DeMoor is already booked.
DeMoor defends the Misfits heavyweight title against Plinio Cruz, the longtime coach of Alex Pereira, on October 10 at the Copper Box Arena in London. That card is headlined by Joey Essex vs. Dapper Laughs.
Tyson is 29 and has lived next to the sport his whole life. He has not yet boxed under the Misfits banner. His father has been publicly cool on the idea of this path. The promotion signed him anyway.
The Miami show itself belonged to other names. Henry Cejudo won a split decision over Javon Walton in the main event at the James L. Knight Center. Tony Ferguson stopped Mahmoud Sebie in the co-main.
Tyson’s segment was the sideshow that will travel farther than either result. A first-time signee calling out the champion on the champion’s own canvas is easy content. Turning it into a fight is a different job.
DeMoor has held the Misfits heavyweight title since November 2024 and has defended it through Tank Tolman, Natan Marcon, and Tate. He also picked up a WBC USA Silver heavyweight belt in August with a stoppage of Kevin Nagle.
If Misfits wants the name-value collision the announcer floated, it will have to wait until DeMoor is finished with Cruz and Tyson has actually fought. Until then the only thing that happened in Miami was a signing, a callout, and two men who had to be held apart.
December is when Tyson is supposed to start that run. DeMoor will already have been in London by then. The belt Tyson keeps promising to take is still on the other man’s waist.
