Dana White Ties Alex Pereira Fight News to Nina Drama’s Stream
Dana White agreed to put Alex Pereira’s next fight on a Kick stream, and he put a number on it. Walking a hallway with streamer Nina Drama during UFC 332 week in Salt Lake City, Dana White said 25,000 comments on her video would be enough for him to make the announcement on her stream this Saturday.
Nina Drama asked how many comments the clip would need before he would announce Poatan’s next fight on her Kick stream. Dana White did not hedge. “Let’s do twenty-five thousand,” he said. She repeated it back. “Twenty-five thousand comments?” He confirmed it. “That’s twenty-five thousand.”
She pressed the rest of the terms. “And you’ll announce it on my Kick stream?” Dana answered, “Yes.” She asked if it would be this Saturday. He said yes. She asked if it would be in Salt Lake. He said yes again. The on-screen graphic that closed the clip framed the deal in plain type: 25,000 comments equals an Alex Pereira fight announcement.
Nothing in the exchange named an opponent. Dana did not say the bout is signed. He said he would announce the fight on her stream if the comment count is met, and he placed that announcement in Salt Lake City on Saturday, the same city and date as UFC 332 at the Delta Center.
Pereira is 13-4 and has been without a booked return since June. He moved to heavyweight for a shot at interim gold at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14 in Washington, D.C., and Ciryl Gane stopped him with punches at 1:27 of the second round. That was Pereira’s heavyweight debut. Before it, he had reclaimed the light heavyweight title with a first-round finish of Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 in October 2025, then lost the belt to Ankalaev by decision at UFC 313.
The heavyweight title picture moved without him. Gane is booked to meet Josh Hokit in the main event of UFC 334 on November 14 at Madison Square Garden. Dana was asked after UFC 331 about Pereira’s place once that defense was set, and he kept it short, saying a next fight for the Brazilian would come soon. Pereira has said he wants to stay at heavyweight rather than wait on the title path.
The Salt Lake agreement does not fill in the name on the other side of the graphic. The clip ends with Pereira listed at 13-4, 39 years old, 6-foot-4, with a question mark where the opponent would go. Dana’s only commitment on camera was the platform, the city, and the day, tied to the comment threshold Drama set with him in the hallway.
UFC 332 itself is already set. Natalia Silva meets Wang Cong for the vacant women’s flyweight title in the main event on October 3, with the main card on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET. Pereira is not on that card. If Dana White keeps the hallway deal, the announcement would land around the same weekend, on Drama’s Kick stream, not in the Octagon.
Until that stream happens, the booking stays unannounced. Pereira’s last result is the second-round stoppage loss to Gane. Gane’s next assignment is Hokit in New York. Dana has now said the missing piece, Pereira’s next opponent, can come Saturday in Salt Lake if the video clears 25,000 comments.
